MakanSite ("we") provides a hosted website service for Malaysian food and beverage businesses ("you"). By using the service you agree these terms.
Subscription: monthly recurring fee. Cancel any time; your public site goes offline at the end of the paid period. We keep your data for 90 days after cancellation so you can resume; after that it is permanently deleted.
Your content (menu, photos, business info) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it on your public site. You are responsible for the accuracy of menu, prices and opening hours.
What we don't do: take payments from your customers, take a cut of any orders, sell your data, run ads on your site. Customers contact you directly via WhatsApp or phone.
We may suspend the service for maintenance with prior notice, or to comply with Malaysian law. We're not liable for indirect losses (lost sales during downtime, etc.). Maximum total liability is capped at the fees paid in the last 12 months.
Disputes are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any claim must be brought in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
Domain transfer-out: if MakanSite registered your domain on your behalf, the domain is registered in YOUR name from day one and you can transfer it to any other registrar at any time, free of charge. We commit to issuing the ICANN authorization (EPP) code within 48 hours of a written request from your account email. We do not lock domains during the paid period, charge transfer-out fees, or hold domain names hostage on account closure. Refunds for the remaining annual period are not provided, but the transfer itself is unconditional.
